The Hillton Lodge is situated in a nature reserve abundant with wetland plants and wildlife such as Zebra, Red Hartebeest, Black Hartebeest, Mountain Reebok and Blesbok. It is also a bird enthusiast paradise with a wide range of alpine birdlife. The Hillton Lodge in Mpumalanga is simply the perfect place to stay, relax, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty all around you when visiting The Hillton Lodge. Come and relax in the quiet, friendly, peaceful and extremely scenic surroundings of Dullstroom in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. Dullstroom is located two and a half hours from Johannesburg which makes this the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway with family or friends, with its beautiful scenery, quiet countryside atmosphere, enjoying the large swimming pool and surrounding trout dams, all situated in the breathtaking views of a nature reserve abundant with wetland plants.

The lodge has a main house with 4 bedrooms (king size beds in each room) and sleeps 8 people and a 1 bedroom cottage (king size bed) which can be booked separately.

Breathtaking views as far as the eye can see greets you from the balconies of the two-bedroom suites on the top floor. Each beautifully decorated and laid out with a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, ample cupboard space and an on-suite shower and bathroom.

On the bottom floor, you have two more bedroom suites. Both have a balcony with their own built-in braai, a flat-screen TV and a cozy gas fireplace.

As you enter the front door you will be greeted with an open plan sitting room and kitchen area, fitted for all your self-catering needs.

Aladin's Cave Wine Cellar

The Estate's Aladin's Cave wine cellar is filled with local and imported wines and designed along the lines of the traditional vintage. It has the capacity for 6000 bottles and stores many of South Africa's favourites, as well as concentrating on the new boutique estates. It also houses a careful selection of International wines and specializes in bringing you the pride of South Africa's port industry. Speak to our resident cellar master for a personalized wine tasting experience.

N4 to Witbank, then on to Belfast, continue along N4

Options:

12 km past Belfast at Winnaarspoort turn left, continue 2 km on the dirt road, turn right at the fork, continue on the dirt road for 5 km until Koppenheim sign on left.

Continue along N4, past the first entrance to Machadodorp, travel for 1 km until dirt road on left indicating Dullstroom. Turn left and travel for about 6 km until the 4-way crossing. Turn left and continue for 3 km until you reach Kloppenheim on the right.
